This is such an incredible place a true modern blast from the past. The history of the village is really neat and it's a treasure of all Coarsegold. Great food at the wild Fig and candy and treats at Mimaw's. The little shops around the village are all cute fun and unique.
The hand made candles and Goat milk Soap at Modee's Leather and Lace are absolutely incredible. Modee also has doggy gifts and treats for sale. I prefer soy milk candles over other types of candles and that is what Modee specializes in. The goat milk Soap from Mountain Oak Premium Soap at Modee's is delightful as well the smells are wonderful.
Come on down and see the rich western history of the Coarsegold village. Oh yeah the coffee shop is so good as well. The antique store is fun as well as the Poppy shop and Mended Fences, and you can even get Magna Wave Treatment at Three Cross healing at the village as well.
I would venture to say that no trip to Yosemite would be considered complete without stopping at the historic Coarsegold Village.
It has the potential to be pretty neat but we went in the off season and most everything was closed. The antique store was cool. It had a great variety of items. Lots of really good deals on leather coats and they seemed willing to negotiate a bit on prices. I'd absolutely go back to see new inventory.
I've lived locally for a few years now, but only recently started visiting Coarsegold Village. First off, this place is adorable! There are a couple vendors set up in the parking lot every weekend, and so far my family has found some cool items at those pop-ups. The few antique shops I walked through have been really interesting, and the shop owners were nice. There's so much there I want to check out! I also really want to go to the Tarantula Festival there next October!🕷
Really cool places. Hand made items you wont find anywherre else.
It is a nice place to visit. Its alike a little old West Village. You can find souveniers, a restaurant, a coffe shop and other little shops. Nice for pictures.
This is an awesome stop filled with quaint little shops throughout. There's a restaurant, drug store and little drive thru coffee shop. A ton of variety to experience.
Love the little flea market. Restaurants are good city chicks is cool, And you gotta go through xander's drive through great coffee
This whole village is filled with friendly people and businesses. You won't be disappointed. Whether you're buying a knick knack, a treat, or going for coffee, or dining in at the restaurant: this whole village is very friendly!
Lots of local history. Great place to stop.
This place is awesome with a lot of cool shops. My only problem is that most of them aren't wheelchair accessible. 😔 …
